I
was born in Ft. Myers, Florida and grew up in Tampa, Florida.
I attended the University of South Florida where I studied Psychology
and Political Science.
In 1999:After college; I worked at ABC News in Washington DC.
While there; I produced segments for World News Tonight. I also
worked in studio for “This Week". News focused my
interest in documentary Filmmaking, and gave me greater confidence
to pursue my dreams.
I decided I needed
to learn the technical aspects of film and video production.
Therefore I enrolled in Full Sail University in 2000. Full
Sail gave me a strong technical understanding of the technology
involved in video and film production. I studied and learned
intensively while making films and videos. I graduated in
December of 2001 as the salutatorian of my class.
I moved to Los Angeles in 2001 and started working in the music
video and commercial industry. During my three years in LA I
have worked on numerous music videos and commercials as well
as independent films. I also worked in post production for many
studio feature films.
For the past three years I have also managed and planned events
for Event Solutions and Tomorrow's Event Productions. I have
worked on hundreds of corporate and private events. Managing
and planning events gives me a unique diversity of experience
that I believe sets me apart from other event videographers/
documentarians. I know fully how special events unfold and the
unique challenges involved with both events and video production.
In 2004, I started Joshua Kline Productions. Joshua Kline Productions
focuses on photography and special event videography and corporate
video production. I love what I do; I see every job as a story
to be told. I passionately pursue telling each story to the
best of my abilities.
I am currently producing my first independent documentary: "Third
World Crafts." The story centers on a woman helping third
world individuals and families acheive better lives through
micro business. Storytelling in all its' permutations is my
passion. I hope I can tell your story.
